Bikini line or Brazilian?

The bikini line covers the hair that shows outside a standard underwear or swimsuit line: the sides and the top edge. It is the right choice if you want a clean edge and no more razor bumps, but would rather leave the rest alone.

A Brazilian is more extensive bikini-area hair reduction; the specific coverage is confirmed with you during consultation. Many clients start with the bikini line and extend later, and you can switch at any point in your series.

Everything happens in a private room with one specialist. You will be shown exactly what will be treated before the laser is switched on.

What a session is like

  1. Before. Shave the area the day before. No waxing or sugaring for four weeks, so the hair root is present. Wear loose, breathable underwear to your appointment and avoid tanning for two weeks.
  2. During. You are covered apart from the area being treated. After matching the settings to your skin and hair, the specialist treats the edges in a few quick passes. About fifteen minutes.
  3. After. Redness and a little tenderness for a few hours is normal. Loose clothing, no hot baths, saunas or workouts for 24 hours, and no exfoliating for a couple of days. Treated hairs shed on their own over one to two weeks.

It is more sensitive than underarms or legs, but a bikini line session is short and most clients find it very manageable. Each pulse feels like a brief warm snap. Tell your specialist if you would like the settings adjusted.

Can I have it done on my period?

Yes, for the bikini line. If you would be more comfortable rescheduling, there is no charge to move your appointment through Booksy.

How many sessions does the bikini line need?

Usually six to eight sessions, several weeks apart. Hair here is coarse and dark, which is what laser targets best, so many clients see a change within the first few sessions. Individual results vary.

Can I upgrade to a Brazilian later?
